PlasticTox policies

Shipping Policy

How your order, sample, results, and use of the PlasticTox service work.

Shipping Policy

Effective date: July 23, 2026

This policy applies to PlasticTox test kits purchased directly through plastictox.fluid.app. A PlasticTox order includes outbound delivery of the kit and a prepaid workflow for returning a properly collected sample to the designated laboratory, as described below.

1. Shipping Area

PlasticTox currently ships to eligible addresses in the United States. We do not currently offer international shipping. Orders to freight forwarders, reshippers, P.O. boxes, U.S. territories, military addresses, or certain remote locations may be unavailable or require additional review depending on carrier and laboratory requirements.

2. Shipping Charges

Standard outbound shipping and the designated prepaid sample-return workflow are included in the product price unless checkout clearly states otherwise. Expedited, replacement, address-correction, unauthorized, or special-handling charges may not be included. The prepaid sample-return material has no cash value and may be used only for the corresponding PlasticTox sample.

3. Processing and Delivery Estimates

Orders are processed after payment authorization and order review. Estimated processing or delivery information shown at checkout, in an order confirmation, or in tracking information is an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery date. Weekends, holidays, inventory, carrier capacity, weather, security review, address verification, and other events can affect timing.

Laboratory turnaround begins only after the laboratory receives and accepts a sample; it is separate from outbound kit-delivery time. A sample may require additional review, recollection, or rejection if it does not meet acceptance or quality requirements.

4. Address Accuracy and Changes

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Submit any correction through the PlasticTox customer portal immediately. We will try to update an address before fulfillment, but changes are not guaranteed after processing begins. Carrier address corrections, rerouting, reshipment, or replacement may result in additional charges where permitted by law.

5. Tracking and Delivery

When available, tracking information will be provided through the order or account workflow. Carrier scans and estimated dates are controlled by the carrier and may be delayed or inaccurate. A shipment may be left at the delivery location, held for pickup, or require another delivery attempt according to carrier policy.

Risk of loss is allocated as required by applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights. If tracking shows delivery but you cannot locate the package, check the delivery location and carrier notices, then submit a portal request promptly.

6. Returning Your Sample

Follow the kit instructions exactly. Use only the collection materials, packaging, label, carrier, and return method provided or approved for that sample. Confirm that required identifiers are complete and that the package is sealed. Do not place unrelated materials, hazardous items, or another person’s sample in the package.

Deposit the sample within the timeframe and at the location specified in the instructions. Keep any available receipt or tracking record. PlasticTox cannot guarantee analysis of a sample returned late, through an unauthorized method, without required identifiers, with inadequate packaging, or in a condition that fails laboratory acceptance criteria.

7. Lost, Delayed, Damaged, or Incorrect Shipments

If the outbound kit is lost, materially delayed, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, submit a request through the customer portal as soon as reasonably possible and no later than 7 days after a damaged or incorrect delivery. Include the order number and photographs when appropriate. PlasticTox may investigate with the carrier and provide replacement materials, a replacement kit, credit, or refund as appropriate.

If a returned sample appears lost or delayed, submit the sample tracking information through the customer portal. Remedies depend on the facts, carrier investigation, sample condition, and applicable law and may include a recollection kit.

8. Weather, Holidays, and Events Outside Reasonable Control

Shipping and laboratory intake may be delayed by weather, natural disasters, public emergencies, holidays, carrier disruption, labor actions, government restrictions, or other events outside reasonable control. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material known delays but do not guarantee uninterrupted shipping.

9. Merchandise Returns

The prepaid sample-return package must not be used to return an unused kit. Merchandise returns require prior authorization and are governed by the Return and Refund Policy.
